Kiss the Hippo opens coffee shops across 2 locations with DesignLSM

The customer, Kiss the Hippo, commissioned the vendor DesignLSM to create a branding and interior design concept for their new roastery and coffee shop. The challenge was to develop a design that captured the brand's ethos, focusing on craftsmanship and precision through a minimalist approach that explored natural materials and light.

DesignLSM implemented a warm and intimate interior spread across two floors. The solution featured contemporary furniture, bespoke lighting, and a custom sound system integrated into the design. A focal point was the ground floor coffee counter made from laser-cut stainless steel. The lower level included a slatted timber screen corridor and a bespoke bookshelf to foster a social, community feel. DesignLSM successfully completed the interior design for two of the brand's locations in Fitzrovia and Richmond.
