CIBC opens a 45,000 sq ft food hall with DesignLSM

The Canadian Imperial Bank of Commerce (CIBC) required a vibrant food hall destination for its new 46-story headquarters in Toronto, a project that would serve its 15,000 staff and the public. The bank, along with developers Ivanhoé Cambridge and Hines, appointed DesignLSM to deliver the strategic positioning, F&B proposition, and interior design concept for the 45,000-square-foot multi-faceted venue.

DesignLSM devised a fluid layout for the TABLE Fare + Social food hall that eliminated walls to foster connectivity and create flexible zones for diverse uses. The solution successfully delivered a socially and aesthetically relaxed ambience designed to transition seamlessly through the day and seasons. The vendor created a distinct and engaging proposition, resulting in an extraordinary and vibrant F&B destination that came to life after a multi-year project duration.
