Preview of the Capitol Visitor Center (cvc) Case Study

Capitol Visitor Center launches 3 eLearning pilots in 2.5 years with Design for People Inc.

The Capitol Visitor Center (CVC), a major U.S. government institution, faced the challenge of urgently transitioning its acclaimed in-person educational programs to an online format, a need accelerated by the pandemic. The CVC engaged Design for People Inc. for strategic advisory support and eLearning development to overcome significant hurdles, including complex security protocols for media capture and lengthy, high-level approval processes for all content.

Design for People Inc. provided a comprehensive solution, beginning with extensive market research and the creation of a strategic eLearning framework. They then delivered customized training for CVC staff and hands-on design and production of several interactive eLearning pilots using Articulate 360. The resulting modules were met with great public excitement, successfully bringing the history and art of the Capitol to online learners across the nation as both a supplement to in-person visits and standalone educational experiences.
