Wainwright’s Yard brightens its front entrance with The Design Attic’s new signage, screens and lighting

The Design Attic was hired by Wainwright’s Yard, a retail and dining destination located off a main high street in Kendal. The customer's challenge was that its front entrance was tired, over-cluttered, and uninviting; its access through a double passageway made it difficult for visitors to see the offerings, which negatively impacted potential footfall.

The Design Attic implemented a comprehensive solution that included stripping out all existing clutter and installing new slate paving, seating, colourful frames with digital signage screens, an artificial living wall, and a programmable LED lighting scheme. The vendor managed the project from start to finish. The result is a smarter, more welcoming space that effectively catches attention from the high street and has been well received on social media.
