Merion Village Dental, a multi-doctor practice in Columbus, Ohio, sought to fill hygiene appointment slots and attract new patients more effectively without overburdening their administrative staff with phone calls. The practice partnered with vendor Dental Intelligence to implement its Online Scheduling product, giving patients the ability to book their own appointments.

Dental Intelligence provided a real-time online scheduling solution, which included a Bulk Scheduling feature to proactively text unscheduled patients with a direct booking link. This solution allowed Merion Village Dental to quickly add over 50 scheduled appointments from two targeted campaigns, a task that would have normally required hundreds of calls. The practice now schedules 100-125 appointments online per month, with 40-50 of those being new patients. Using metrics from Dental Intelligence, the practice also increased its hygiene reappointment rate from 60% to 90%.
