Global Insurer, a Fortune 50 insurance corporation, needed to consolidate IT infrastructure spread across 80 data centers down to 2. After growing through acquisition around the world, it wanted to reduce management complexity and cost through virtualization, standardization, and fewer platforms supported. It turned to Densify for predictive analytics to help plan the migration.

Densify provided predictive analytics and packaged analytics for transformation planning across Sun Solaris to IBM AIX migration, physical-to-virtual and virtual-to-virtual transformations, and a hardware refresh to next generation x86 infrastructure. The insurer used Densify to plan migration of 12,000 workloads in 80 global locations to 2 standardized next-generation data centers, with results that included faster migration planning, right-sized infrastructure, standardization, optimal density and efficiency, and lower risk of performance and compliance issues.
