NHS National Services Scotland - Customer Case Study

National Services Scotland (NSS) is a national NHS board serving over 10,000 users across Scotland with management information and business intelligence. Facing slow integration, high latency, and difficulty accommodating new sources and changes from its traditional physical data warehouse, NSS needed a more agile way to deliver timely, integrated data.

NSS implemented the Denodo Platform to create a logical data warehouse on top of existing systems, using data virtualization to provide real-time integration without moving data—treating the physical warehouse as just another source. The result was much faster access, greater agility for new projects (including a cancer intelligence platform, persons-at-risk dataset, national radiology dashboard, and a single national finance view), and secure, audited access to integrated data.
