Flex Manufacturing was constrained by an aging on‑premises data platform that limited agility, hindered modern data engineering and pipeline testing, and slowed cloud adoption. Flex engaged Trace3 to design a multi‑year technical architecture, data governance and operating model and to build a Data Center of Excellence and enterprise data strategy to move toward a cloud‑native, modern data stack.

Trace3 implemented a solution using CDC, streaming, Snowflake cloud warehousing and the Denodo data virtualization layer (with BI via Tableau), centralizing business logic into logical “services” and reducing replication and point‑to‑point integrations. The result: self‑service access for 5,500+ users, faster time‑to‑insight and partner collaboration, lower costs and complexity, stronger security with granular access controls, and a streamlined migration and modernization path to Snowflake/AWS.
