Engie Mexico Accelerated Data Integration Projects Using the Denodo Platform

Engie Mexico, a subsidiary of Engie, needed a better way to manage data across a segregated legacy environment made up of ETL processes, data warehouses, and Excel files. Lacking a single source of truth, the company struggled to track changes across data sources and support its goal of becoming more data driven. Denodo Technologies and its Denodo Platform were used in the Data Virtualization and Capability Integration (Da Vinci) project.

Denodo Technologies implemented a data virtualization layer that integrated disparate data sources in real time and provided a more agile, flexible way to source and deliver data. As a result, Engie Mexico improved its digital footprint and reduced the time to deliver data integration projects, with more than seven projects completed in the first six months and 11 descriptive analytics projects delivered in the first eight months of 2021.
