Credit Agricole Corporate and Investment Banking (CACIB), part of Credit Agricole—one of the world’s largest cooperative financial institutions—needed to unify analytics across internal and external systems without creating another centralized repository. CACIB’s challenge was to integrate data trapped in business silos and provide real-time operational data (for example, to a front‑office trading system) while ensuring strict governance and security for external data access.

CACIB implemented the Denodo Platform’s data virtualization to build a logical data fabric that provides governed access, ingestion, integration, and sharing across a distributed environment. The solution enabled faster production of business use cases, delivered real‑time data for operational analytics, and democratized data publication between departments while keeping security and compliance intact.
