Altus Analytics, a business unit of Toronto-based Altus Group that provides software, data and services to commercial and residential real estate investors, needed to move from producing reports that took several hours to generate to delivering timely, predictable insights. Their legacy BI stack required heavy data movement and transformation from multiple sources, making report readiness unpredictable and causing delays whenever source data changed.

Altus implemented the Denodo Platform to virtualize data and deliver real-time views across diverse sources without physically moving data. The result: reports are available as soon as data appears in the database, the slower, unpredictable BI infrastructure was replaced, and datasets can be modularized for more efficient reuse and consistent, on-demand reporting for customers.
