Alex Forbes, a South African financial services company, needed a way to unify fragmented data, support real-time financial calculations, and make analytics easier for non-technical users. Its existing Power BI-based processes and early GenAI efforts were constrained by integration bottlenecks, inconsistent user experiences, and data governance challenges across multiple systems and countries.

Denodo Technologies implemented Denodo’s data fabric and AI SDK with Retrieval-Augmented Generation to provide secure, real-time access to governed data through natural language queries. Denodo also built a custom Power BI widget for live insights, helping Alex Forbes improve broker and member contribution calculations, reduce operational delays, and enable multilingual, persona-based self-service while avoiding large-scale vector storage and improving scalability and accuracy.
