A global energy company operating power generation sites across three continents faced the challenge of justifying and prioritizing its OT cybersecurity investments. The cybersecurity team needed financial metrics and a standard framework to measure cyber risk and compare it across its diverse portfolio of wind, solar, and combined-cycle plants. DeNexus deployed its DeRISK platform to monitor a dozen sites, using API integrations to collect internal data and run risk models. The solution provided data-driven analyses, identifying top loss drivers and allowing the team to prioritize mitigation efforts. Most significantly, DeNexus modeled six risk mitigation scenarios, calculating their financial costs and benefits.
