Galaxy Diagnostics undergoes digital transformation in molecular diagnostics workflows to propel expansion

Galaxy Diagnostics, launched in 2009 to commercialize a sensitive Bartonella test using BAPGM, outgrew a homegrown Microsoft Access and spreadsheet system and needed a scalable laboratory information system to reduce operational overhead. After evaluating several vendors, CEO Amanda Elam chose Dendi for its cloud-based LIMS/LIS, citing ease of use and an affordable price point for a growing lab.

Dendi implemented its cloud-based LIMS, replacing manual spreadsheets and enabling secure patient-result access and remote access for the CLIA lab team, with planned integrations to lab instruments and other software. As a result, Galaxy Diagnostics has scaled its molecular diagnostics workflows more efficiently, lowered operational costs and time per workflow, and continues partnering with Dendi to expand its test menu.
