Restaurant.com partnered with Den Aviary to improve its Specials by Restaurant.com email program, which required creating market-specific offers for both the brand and its affiliates. The process was time-consuming, taking more than 8 hours to assemble content and build audience segments, and needed to stay aligned with the offers shown on the company’s website for each market.
Den Aviary implemented a data-driven email workflow using Restaurant.com’s NimbleCommerce platform and Salesforce Marketing Cloud/ExactTarget. By dynamically pulling localized offer data into email content and automating audience-specific scripting, Den Aviary eliminated manual data entry and much of the development work. As a result, campaign setup time dropped from several hours to just minutes, regardless of the number of markets involved.
