CAIR engages 1,000+ voters in weeks with Democracy Works

The Council on American Islamic Relations (CAIR) first utilized Democracy Works' TurboVote service at its San Francisco Bay Area chapter to boost local Muslim voter engagement for a primary election. The initial challenge was to effectively scale this voter outreach and registration assistance across multiple state chapters as part of a broader national strategy.

Democracy Works provided the solution through TurboVote, a tool that delivers personalized election information for all 50 states. CAIR California chapters coordinated to use TurboVote, engaging over 1,000 voters ahead of the March primary. The strategy was successfully adopted by CAIR New Jersey for its June primary, using QR codes and a shared website to streamline registration and reminders. The implementation by Democracy Works allowed CAIR to efficiently scale a unified voter engagement effort across multiple states.
