Procter & Gamble (P&G) partnered with Dematic to design a new Tier 3 Order Fulfillment System for its facility. The challenge was to create a flexible, expandable flagship system for less-than-case order fulfillment that could serve as a model for future P&G facilities worldwide, all while optimizing productivity and ensuring safety.

Dematic implemented an integrated solution featuring conveyance, racking, and technologies like pick-to-light and automated carton erectors, all controlled by its Equipment Management System (EMS) software. The result was a comprehensive and flexible system design for a new distribution center. Dematic’s single-supplier approach, from concept through implementation, ensured the project was delivered on time and on budget, providing a scalable model for global deployment.
