Garment-on-Hanger Solution Delivers Success for Fashion Logistics Specialist

Meyer & Meyer, a global fashion logistics provider, required an automated garment-on-hanger system to handle diverse processes from goods receiving to dispatch. The challenge was to design a solution capable of processing 10,000 pieces per hour to accommodate the company's global growth. Dematic was selected to implement this high-capacity system.

Dematic's solution integrated a high-speed clip conveyor, matrix sorters, and automated bagging and labeling units. This system handles 120,000 garments in 12 hours, sorting them by store, department, and style. The results for Meyer & Meyer include a significant reduction in manual labor at both the distribution center and the retail store, lower operating costs, and the ability to ship orders perfectly sequenced for store floors.
