Flexible Logistics Solution Makes Keppel a Leading 3PL

Keppel Logistics, a major third-party logistics provider in Singapore, faced challenges due to scarce land and a shortage of skilled labor. To address this for a new warehouse, they partnered with Dematic for an automated warehousing solution to reduce their physical footprint and dependence on manual operations.

Dematic implemented a high-rise automated storage and retrieval system (AS/RS) with an integrated radio frequency (RF) communication system. This solution resulted in 100% inventory accuracy, a significant reduction in required staff, and major space and cost savings. The Dematic system also provided the flexibility and real-time data access that allowed Keppel to improve response times and efficiently handle peak season demands.
