To address this, they partnered with Dematic for an intelligent, highly dynamic solution based on the goods-to-person order picking principle.

Dematic implemented a system featuring a Multishuttle storage solution with over 7,800 tote locations. This solution required almost 50% less space and a third fewer employees than conventional systems, while boosting picking speeds to nearly 5,000 items per hour.
