A Logistics Platform Based on the Dematic Multishuttle

Servicio Móvil, which supplies hospitals and health centers for Sergas in Galicia, needed to meet strict long-term requirements for storage capacity, response times, and order volumes in its main warehouse. To do that, it chose Dematic and its Multishuttle-based logistics platform, backed by Dematic’s technical reliability and support.

Dematic implemented a scalable, modular system featuring a Multishuttle Captive setup, high-rate picking stations, transporters, and warehouse software to automate operations. The project reduced human error, sped up order preparation, improved control and billing, and lowered labor and logistics costs; the warehouse now handles more than 500 daily orders, 7,000 order lines, and about 35,000 units, with ROI expected in 3 to 4 years and deployment completed in about 8 months.
