Warnaco, a leading intimate-apparel and swimwear marketer (brands include Warner’s, Olga, JLO, Speedo and Calvin Klein), needed better visibility into point-of-sale data after shifting production overseas so it could respond faster and optimize retail productivity. To create a one-number forecast, introduce line-planning discipline and improve collaboration with key customers, Warnaco selected Demand Solutions and its DS Stores solution.
Demand Solutions implemented DS Stores to turn store-level SKU data into actionable account insights; Warnaco deployed the system to about 25 users and is forecasting roughly 8,000 SKUs and building key-account forecasts. The result: smoother, faster access to corporate and retailer-level data, deeper assortment planning and improved collaboration with major accounts — enabling finer-tuned ordering, shorter order cycles and fewer returns — all attributed to Demand Solutions’ implementation.
