Nuplex Perfects its Forecasting Formula

Nuplex, a global resin manufacturer, needed to transform planning, warehousing and distribution across Australia and New Zealand by replacing spreadsheet- and homegrown-based forecasting with system-driven, algorithmic forecasts. To meet that challenge, Nuplex selected Demand Solutions and its DSX Forecast Management platform.

Demand Solutions implemented DSX (integrated with Nuplex’s Microsoft Dynamics AX in 2014), providing automated statistical forecasting, multiple algorithms, dashboards and safety‑stock calculations that speed forecast generation and drive S&OP. The platform now supports 18 warehouses and about 35,000 SKU-location combinations, enabling Nuplex to reduce inventory, improve stock turns, free up working capital and make faster, more accurate supply‑chain decisions.
