Everlast, the century-old boxing and sporting-goods brand, faced rapidly growing complexity as it expanded into new product lines and channels—SKUs jumped from 500 to 2,000, lead times run 90–120 days, and forecasting was still done in Excel. To gain visibility and support ambitious market moves (women’s, Latino, and nontraditional retailers), Everlast turned to Demand Solutions, evaluating and selecting its Forecasting & Management (FM) and Requirements Planning (RP) modules along with Pipeline collaboration tools.
Demand Solutions implemented DS FM/RP and a MAS200 interface, provided user training and collaboration via regional user groups, and sped Everlast’s forecast processes from 24–48 hours (or longer) to about 30 minutes. The vendor’s solution delivered faster, more accurate roll-ups (initial revenue forecasts were within 2% of independent projections), improved decision time and visibility, and positions Everlast to hit its target fill rates of 99–100% while managing the larger SKU base.
