Sea Machines Robotics Inc earns 2024 Silver Muse Design Awards with Delve

Sea Machines Robotics Inc., a pioneer in autonomous marine navigation, needed an interface for its AI-ris system to help vessel captains trust the computer's navigation decisions and enhance their ability to identify potential obstacles at sea. They partnered with the design firm Delve to address this challenge.

Delve designed a future-forward, dynamic interface that used augmented reality layers on a 360-degree camera feed and navigation charts to enhance vision and decision-making. They simplified vessel operation with an intuitive control interface and rigorously tested the design for high-glare marine environments. The solution was highly successful; the AI-ris interface designed by Delve won the 2024 Silver Muse Design Award in two separate categories: Industrial Products and Computer and Information Technology.
