Bombardier Transportation’s Rail Control Solutions (RCS) division was managing large, complex rail modernization programs—over 10,000 activities across multiple planners and countries—with frequent weekly updates. Bombardier implemented Deltek Acumen Fuse, building a Bombardier‑specific metric library and using Fuse’s automated quality checks, forensic comparison and Excel analyst reports to group, analyze and communicate issues by sub‑project. The solution standardized reviews, improved visibility into changes and performance, and slashed analysis time from 8–16 hours to under 15 minutes, enabling faster, more accurate schedule control and clearer task assignment for schedulers.
