Engineering firm standardises procedures and improves efficiencies with Deltek PIM

Conisbee is an award‑winning London‑based structural and civil engineering firm (est. 1982) with around 90 employees working on complex urban projects in housing, mixed‑use, education and arts sectors. As the business grew, information was fragmented across seven teams with inconsistent folder structures, public email folders and paper drawings, leading to duplication, poor access to documents and a rising administrative burden.

In 2007 Conisbee implemented Deltek PIM, a database‑driven, centrally stored document management system that uses templates and tagging to consolidate project information. The result is standardised procedures and consistent documentation, much faster document retrieval, lower administrative overhead and a scalable, modular platform that lets managers view project correspondence and financials at a glance.
