Deltek Enterprise automates project accounting, funding processes for $25 million nonprofit working to administer justice to state court systems

The National Center for State Courts (NCSC), a $25M nonprofit founded to support state court systems, was hampered by fragmented systems: Epicor handled general ledger and AP while homegrown tools managed timesheets, projects and federal reporting. That led to manual data uploads, error-prone calculations, limited project visibility, and difficulty tracking diverse funding and complex government reporting as the organization grew.

In 2003 NCSC implemented the Deltek Enterprise suite (Costpoint, Impromptu and Deltek Time Collection) to centralize accounting, billing, project reporting and timekeeping. The integrated solution eliminated most manual calculations, automated AR, improved actuals-vs.-budget accuracy, enabled tracking of roughly 400 active projects and multiple funding types, reduced errors and saved staff hours while delivering faster, more actionable internal and external reports.
