Fastweb Enhances Customers’ Digital Experience

Fastweb, a leading Italian telecom serving over 2.12 million customers, needed to modernize its infrastructure to support DevOps and continuous delivery across more than 100 applications and 300 databases. Legacy processes and limited resources made provisioning a single application environment take seven days, delaying development and causing defects to reach production.

By adopting the Delphix data platform, Fastweb cut environment provisioning from seven days to one–two hours and moved from monthly to daily data refreshes. Self‑service provisioning and synchronized virtualized data from up to 40 sources enabled faster integration testing, earlier bug detection, and minor releases in days rather than weeks, while delivering about 250TB of storage savings (80% reduction in non‑production storage and avoidance of 150TB of production data costs).
