Full-Service Manufacturer Drives Quality, Innovation with Single-Source ERP

Wisconsin Plastics, Inc. (WPI) is a full-service manufacturer with five locations and four divisions—covering prototyping, injection molding, metal stamping and painting, design and heavy fabrication—serving over 200 employees and more than $25M in annual sales. Rapid growth exposed limits in its legacy ERP: the system was slow and fragmented, offering poor visibility across divisions, weak inventory and quality controls, and insufficient support for ISO certification and broader customer needs. WPI needed a single, cost-effective, easy-to-use system to unify operations from the shop floor to the boardroom.

WPI implemented IQMS EnterpriseIQ, a single-source, Oracle-powered ERP that integrated production, inventory, accounting and quality management in a familiar Windows interface. Results were immediate: streamlined accounts payable, real-time shop-floor visibility for customer service, improved inventory accuracy through cycle counting, and automated quality workflows that helped two divisions achieve ISO certification; the system also enabled preventative maintenance and better cross-department communication—driving stronger control, efficiency and growth.
