Interval International Leverages Centrify’s Zone Technology to Easily Implement Least Privilege Management

Interval International, a global leader in vacation exchange operating in over 80 countries, faced a major IT challenge as rapid growth and acquisitions expanded its environment to more than 700 Linux systems. The company needed to bridge those Linux servers to Active Directory, enforce a least-privilege model for employees, contractors, and consultants, streamline onboarding, and meet PCI compliance—all while avoiding time-consuming manual administration and reducing security risk.

Interval implemented Centrify Identity-Centric PAM with patented Zone Technology to connect Linux to AD, enforce granular least-privilege access, automate password changes, and provide real-time auditing and reports. The result was immediate provisioning, centralized oversight and segregation of duties, a drastic reduction from hundreds of person-hours per week to under ten, stronger compliance and reduced attack surface, and avoided costs of expanding the UNIX team.
