Victoria University of Wellington gathers input from 15% of students with Delib

Victoria University of Wellington, in partnership with its Students Association, faced the challenge of gathering informed student feedback on how their annual services levy should be allocated across areas like health and careers advice. They needed a way for students to understand the current spending and the consequences of potential changes. To achieve this, the university worked with Delib and used its Simulator product.

Delib's Simulator provided a visual and interactive platform that allowed students to propose their own budget allocations and see the results of their choices. This approach was highly successful, engaging over 15 percent of the student body. The exercise generated valuable quantitative and qualitative feedback, which directly informed the university's future planning for levy-funded services. Delib's solution was praised by students for being refreshing and easy to use.
