The General Optical Council, a UK regulatory body, sought to transform its consultation process to better uphold its principles of openness and accountability while ensuring full accessibility for all stakeholders, including those with visual impairments. They turned to Delib and its Citizen Space platform to meet this challenge.

Delib’s Citizen Space provided the solution with features designed for transparency, including public response publishing and a 'We Asked, You Said, We Did' summary page. Its built-in accessibility, such as full integration with screen readers, ensured everyone could participate. For their largest consultation, the Council received nearly a thousand responses, enabling them to make a fully informed decision and then transparently report back on how stakeholder input directly influenced the outcome.
