Sutton Council runs 300+ consultations with Delib's Citizen Space

Sutton Council needed to run a statutory consultation for its draft Sustainable Transport Strategy, requiring a platform that could handle complex, technical content while providing an intuitive experience for residents. The council had been a pioneer in sustainable travel and required a tool to support a wide range of consultation activities, from borough-wide strategies to highly localized initiatives.

Delib implemented its Citizen Space platform, which provided Sutton Council with a scalable solution featuring geospatial tools and the ability to link related documents. This allowed the council to conduct everything from large strategic consultations to over 20 highly localized School Streets consultations. As a result, Sutton Council has now run over 300 consultations on Citizen Space, which has proven to be the right tool for successful transport planning and engagement.
