Scottish Climate Assembly gathers 235 ideas with Delib

The Scottish Climate Assembly, commissioned by the Scottish Government, faced the challenge of engaging the wider Scottish public in its proceedings on tackling the climate emergency, as the nature of a citizens' assembly meant only a representative sample of 100 people could directly participate.

The Assembly used Delib's Dialogue tool to create an online challenge that mirrored the Assembly's core question, allowing the public to submit, rate, and comment on ideas. Delib's solution generated 235 well-considered ideas that were assessed for feasibility and directly informed the agenda and recommendations presented to the official Assembly members.
