Reading Borough Council publishes dozens of TROs and gets 900+ responses with Delib

Reading Borough Council, like all UK local authorities, needed to produce and consult on traffic regulation orders (TROs). The challenge was to move this mandatory process online to align with their other public engagement activities. They worked with vendor Delib to implement this using the Citizen Space platform.

Delib's solution provided a standardized online process within Citizen Space, making TRO consultations easier for both staff and the public to navigate. This integration simplified the workload for staff and made it easier for residents to find and participate. The results were highly efficient, with Reading publishing dozens of TROs and receiving over 900 responses for one of their active travel consultations.
