Ministry of Health New Zealand gets 2,254 consultation responses with Delib

The Ministry of Health New Zealand needed to consult on its Smokefree Action Plan to make the country smoke-free by 2025, a challenge that required engaging with specific demographics and remote communities. To achieve this, they used Delib's Citizen Space platform for the online component of their consultation.

Using Citizen Space, Delib's platform enabled the Ministry to collect detailed, free-text feedback from citizens. The solution garnered 2,254 online responses, which was nearly half of all recorded feedback and more than double that of any other activity. Delib's tools allowed for quick analysis of qualitative data, grouping responses into themes to clearly identify priorities and directly shape the final Action Plan.
