Merseyside Violence Reduction Partnership reaches young people across all five boroughs with Delib

The Merseyside Violence Reduction Partnership (VRP) faced the challenge of continuing its preventative, public health approach to reducing violence during the COVID-19 pandemic. They needed a way to facilitate open, two-way online engagement with citizens, including vulnerable groups, without the formality of a traditional consultation. They chose Delib's Dialogue platform to create this accessible and safe digital space.

Delib's solution provided a fully customizable platform where participants could contribute completely anonymously, enabling honest conversations from both victims and perpetrators of violence. The use of Dialogue allowed the Merseyside VRP to successfully engage with residents across all five boroughs, creating a transparent forum for young people to voice their concerns and contribute ideas, thus broadening the reach and inclusivity of their violence reduction work.
