A Delib Case Study
The Merseyside Violence Reduction Partnership (VRP) needed to create a preventative, public health-focused approach to reduce violence in its community. The challenge was to facilitate open, two-way engagement with citizens, particularly young people, in a way that felt safe and informal rather than like a daunting formal consultation, especially with the shift to online outreach during COVID-19. They turned to Delib to implement a solution using their Dialogue platform.
Delib's Dialogue platform provided a secure, customizable space for this engagement. A key feature was the ability for users to contribute completely anonymously, allowing both victims and perpetrators of violence to share their experiences without fear of identification. This solution enabled the Merseyside VRP to successfully reach residents across all five boroughs, creating a transparent forum for honest conversations and effectively involving young people in the decision-making process to make Merseyside safer for everyone.
