London Borough of Southwark engages nearly 3,000 residents with Delib

The London Borough of Southwark sought to involve its residents in ongoing decision-making through effective and inclusive public consultations. Their challenge was to run broad-scope, ambitious projects like the Southwark Conversation and ensure underrepresented groups could have their say. To achieve this, they used Citizen Space, a digital consultation platform from Delib.

Delib's Citizen Space provided a central online hub for the council's consultation activity, enabling openness and accountability. The platform's features, such as the 'We Asked, You Said, We Did' function, were used to provide essential feedback to citizens, validating their input and increasing trust in the council. Through Delib's solution, Southwark received nearly 3000 responses for one major consultation, with the largest response rate coming through the online channel.
