Camden Council faced the challenge of developing a meaningful, borough-wide response to the climate crisis that genuinely reflected the priorities of its diverse community. To accomplish this ambitious goal, they partnered with Delib.

Delib's Citizen Space platform was implemented to run a six-week online consultation on the draft Climate Action Plan, ensuring it was accessible and easy for any resident to participate. This approach, complementing their Citizens' Assembly, helped Camden develop and approve a five-year plan that delivered remarkable results. With Delib's support, Camden achieved a 52% reduction in borough-wide emissions since 2005, invested over £35 million in climate action, and funded over 90 community projects, demonstrating the power of their community-led approach.
