Bristol City Council Ideas Lab - Customer Case Study

Bristol City Council Ideas Lab was faced with several significant city-wide challenges and opportunities, from saving money to winning the Bloomberg Challenge. Their goal was to find new ideas for these challenges directly from the city's residents. To achieve this, they turned to the vendor Delib and used its online product, Dialogue.

Delib's Dialogue platform provided a structured online space for the public to share, discuss, and rate ideas. The resulting "Ideas Lab" was a major success, generating 316 ideas, over 1,300 comments, and 3,300 ratings. The project directly informed Bristol's policy, including its Bloomberg Challenge entry, and led to the council using Delib's approach for further consultations on local services.
