Schréder, a Belgian family-run lighting solutions group operating in about 40 countries, needed to better connect information and collaboration across its highly fragmented organization. To support a more unified group-wide IT approach, it turned to delaware BeLux to help address disparate systems, including the need to standardize 27 different ERP systems and implement a company-wide Enterprise Content Management solution.

delaware BeLux implemented SPOT (Schréder Portal for Operating Together) on Microsoft SharePoint 2013 and SharePoint Online to enable file sharing and collaborative project management across 48 companies worldwide. The solution is now operational and evolving, helping employees find information from other entities in just a few clicks and strengthening a shared “group” identity across Schréder’s organization.
