A delaware BeLux Case Study
RumeXperts, a spin-off of the University of Liège specializing in veterinary research, wanted to unlock the value of the large volumes of data collected by dairy farms. Working with delaware BeLux and Digital Wallonia, they aimed to move beyond their Salve platform’s descriptive alerts and use AI to predict issues earlier so farmers could respond faster to changes affecting milk quality and revenue.
delaware BeLux helped RumeXperts assess the data, validate system compatibility, and build a predictive model on the Microsoft Cloud during the Start IA and Tremplin IA phases. The solution proved production-ready for predicting milk fat content and bacterial count, with 30% to 50% of the 250 farms in the cohort showing predictive value, helping reduce response times and support a more efficient, data-driven approach to dairy farming.
