Delaware Collaborates With Nanotech Leader Imec To Create A Custom Digital Workplace Hub

imec, a strategic research center headquartered in Leuven with 4,000 employees worldwide, needed a digital workplace solution to improve secure communication and collaboration across teams and external partners. delaware Belgium worked with imec to rethink its approach and define a clear digital workplace vision, roadmap, and architecture, centered on Microsoft Teams and other Microsoft technologies.

delaware Belgium implemented four integrated elements inside Microsoft Teams: secure team collaboration workspaces, a personalized new intranet with custom apps, telephony and video conferencing integration, and a communication, adoption, and help portal plan. The result was a custom digital workplace hub that enabled richer, more secure collaboration and helped imec run its program end to end, while supporting online training and employee engagement during the coronavirus crisis.
