Cosucra becomes closer to its farmer suppliers thanks to the cloud

Cosucra, a producer of specialised food ingredients, wanted to modernize its IT landscape to improve innovation, competitiveness, and collaboration with its farmer suppliers. Working with delaware BeLux, the company built on earlier SAP ERP modernization and added Microsoft Office 365-based collaboration tools to better connect employees and external partners.

delaware BeLux implemented a cloud-based extranet on Microsoft Azure, along with a new intranet and Yammer for internal communication, giving growers secure access to financial, administrative, and crop data and enabling two-way information sharing. This reduced paper forms and encoding errors, improved transparency and speed, and helped Cosucra move toward paperless processes and better production planning by anticipating crop results; the partnership also included a proof of concept for AI and machine learning to support future digital transformation.
