Dejero hits the road in ‘Tour de Delta’ bike race

SW Event Technologies, British Columbia’s leading audio-visual event services company, needed a reliable way to stream live coverage of the demanding Tour de Delta bike race, where rugged terrain and riders reaching speeds up to 80 km/h made traditional video transport unstable. The challenge was to maintain strong, consistent connectivity across the course while supporting multiple mobile camera operators.

Working with Dejero, SW Event Technologies used the Dejero EnGo mobile transmitters, along with Dejero transceiver and receiver equipment, to send live feeds back to the production truck over multiple cellular networks. The solution delivered smooth, crystal-clear HD video throughout the race, avoided the signal dropouts they had experienced before, and gave the team access to Dejero’s rental inventory for added flexibility.
