The State of Vermont, a long-time user of Deighton Associates' dTIMS software, faced the challenge of implementing a new, comprehensive Vermont Asset Management Information System (VAMIS) while minimizing disruption to the day-to-day operations of its agencies, including VTrans and the Department of Buildings and General Services. The state required a solution that would integrate data and decision support for a wide array of assets beyond its paved road network.
