CMPDD modernizes pavement management across 7 Mississippi counties with Deighton Associates

The Central Mississippi Planning & Development District (CMPDD) needed to replace its outdated pavement management software, which was incompatible with modern operating systems. Their challenge was to find a new system from Deighton Associates that could manage a wide array of infrastructure assets, integrate with external databases for bridges and signs, and replace their manual, paper-based field data collection process.

Deighton Associates implemented its dTIMS solution, working with CMPDD and the Mississippi Department of Transportation to define the network, load historical data, and develop analytical models. The result was the generation of a long-term strategic plan. Future work planned includes the implementation of a mobile application for field data collection.
