New Chief Enrollment Officer Utilizes Credit Calculator to Better Serve Incoming Students

Oklahoma Christian University needed to streamline its lengthy and complicated process for evaluating incoming student transcripts, which involved too many staff and was only available to applicants. The new Chief Enrollment Officer identified this as a key challenge to address in order to better serve prospective students. The university turned to DegreeSight for a solution using its TraCC product.

DegreeSight implemented its Transfer Credit Calculator (TraCC) to automate transcript evaluations and learn new rules over time. This centralized the process, made it available to all incoming students, and significantly sped up response times. The results included 146 users, 51 new inquiries leading to 8 deposited students, and the automated creation of 122 new rules, all within eight months of implementation.
